Okay, here's a silly picture of the new baby pretending our kitty does not exist!! He was making us laugh because kitties are new to him and he really just wants to check them out, but they are so much bigger than them!! He is fascinated by everything here and is a complete Mama's boy already. He is always in between my feet or at least not too far away.... Enjoy the pic

For anyone who is wondering, he still doesn't have a proper name. It changes daily many times because it has to be just right. We are getting closer, though, so it shouldn't be long now!!

Oh congrats that is great. I have a chocolate smooth hair girl she is super hyper and loves to play. I was looking forever for a male for her. My son found one and came home with 5 instead of the one he went for....so now we have a houseful of dachshunds. We love them. Now we have three long haired baby girls one sable, one reverse chocolate dapple, and one black and tan dapple that is very slight. Two grown males both long haired one Isabella and the other is black and tan. I thought my girl Missy was hyper until Spike(not we did not name him) came along he is tiny more than mini and has more energy than all of them put together. I think he was deprived of attention as a puppy and is now trying to make up for it. ..........Just love dachshunds
