I got my first hound pup!! New pics page 5!

thats my basset as a baby(mostly basset 75% ,there are also 1/8 treeing walker and 1/8 foxhound. He is only 45 pounds and has the nose of a sight hound and the eyes of a basset.

Wow Tad is learning SOO fast!! he's already learned to sit and stay! He didn't know how to play much but hes learning how to fetch now and to play soccer and I run with him alot!! He is a tad bit shy of the horses but previous owner might have owned some and already knows to stay out from around them! Hes great with chickens he went inside calmy and never laid eyes on the birds just me! Great with the piggies! he's very relaxed with about every thing! Ugh though I had to leave him for the first time today at home and come to work its so nerve racking!!! I hope hes doing okay!!

I'll post new pics soon of tad playing ball and our trip to the woods and pond tomorrow!

Well guys! Tad is now 7 months old and growing like a weed! With a 23 inch round collar size already and growing by the day hes going to be HUGE! He's already a whooping 92 pounds of sheer imature puppy! I love him to bits! His UKC and AKC reg name is Melton's Tad Bit Of Spice. Me and Tad have a bond like NO other! He has already proved he'd lay down his life to protect me and i'd do the same! Tad will begin showing in some UKC Bench shows soon!

Oh my goodness what a big boy! Absolutely gorgeous, I've always been a fan of those hounds. Their baying annoys the family though, so I will just wait until I'm on my own to get one. But goodness he is a good lookin' fella.
