So far we've been ok...

I don't like raw zuchinni at all but he eats large handfuls of diced zuchinni every chance he gets.

We grew only white and yellow carrots this year so they have been really into those.

And the peas.... they demolished those.

I grew a blend of white, yellow, orange and purple carrots this year. I pulled a white one the other day that was about the size of my little finger and as woody as an oak. I couldn't even bite through it. I am made of veggie garden FAIL.

Kinda depends. Grandma & Grandpa used to think I was a loon about the kids diets and avoidance's until Grandma found out about the various foods that were aggravating her medical issues. Now they're firmly on board. DH, on the other hand cannot be trusted. He is tired of all the restrictions but doesn't deal with the fallout. Such a SHORT memory he has. He thinks a kids life is ruined because Mom won't let them eat wheat or very much candy. He thinks I'm MAKING them sick because "I put the idea into their heads". Silly thing.

My DH is like that to a point. If the doc says there is an allergy then he is on board, but if I say they have anything he says I'm just creating hypochondriacs

I have blood tests from Immuno Labs, and 3 doctors to confirm DD#2 on it. Eczema confirms it for DD#3, and going from screaming fights about homework to straight A's is all I need for proof on DD#1

You have no idea how miserable I would make DH if he tried that. We have a simple rule in this house, it is not a democracy, I rule it, i run it, you want a vote, get your own house. (It may help that the current Mr saddi saw how fast I disposed of his predacessor).

Hahaha. They say everyone has 20/20 hindsight.
