I started toasting bread.....got out the mayo, went to get the can of tuna. AND THERE WAS NONE.

Dang it.

Had to eat the last 3 old pieces of pizza. They suck.

Yeah, with WIC, you have to drag everyone and everything to the clinic, watch some video of some sort on proper nutrition, blah, blah, blah..... I asked if I had to take Annika out of school, they are still trying to figure that out.

But in the end, you'll get REAL food on the program. Vs food stamps, in which you get as cheap as possible, and then get prepackaged garbage and such. Not you as in you Laree, you as in the you general population who needs food stamps and isn't abusing the system.

Shane is all mad because I don't want to get on and argue with the unemployement people. Usually, I don't shy from conflict, but uuuuuuggghhh I would rather clean the coop for 10 hours straight.


Whist I was procrastinating calling AZUI- I called my "maybe job" contact. As far as she knows, I am still on for the job she has for me. It may be $10K a year less than what I need, but it will still be $$. It is NOT set in stone, so I can't say I have the job fer sure. Also- the job is 28 miles away through traffic, which sucks. BUT--BUUUUUT---I may be able to telecommute 1-2 days a week, which would be super-sweet. The earliest this particular job could start is in 2 weeks.

Also whist procrastinating, I called my recruiter to see if there is ANYTHING out there. Even a data-entry position that lasted two weeks would calm Shaner down a little.

IN OTHER NEWS: WHY can't the MIL just take over my wage-earner position in the family? She certainly makes enough $$ to pay the mortgage by herself. Then I could just be the maid, cook, nurse, and care giver---and we'd be set. I don't get it. I DON'T GET IT.
