I have, in the past, actually rubbed a piece of paper on preggers tummies and mailed it to friends.

So why does my new house bathroom sink smell like that then, when it's been running and hasn't had time to go dry? Not everytime but enough times to make me go...what the frick? And why does sometimes when I turn the kitchen sink on it takes a while for the water to come out or it comes out in spurts and when it drains it goes blub blub blub?

Either your bathroom sink isn't vented properly, doesn't have a trap, or there's a dead mouse under your sink.

Kitchen drain line probably needs to be augered out. Kitchen faucet - not sure why it's doing that, but I can ask DH!
