Exactly. I have one that's openwork lace, i use it to keep my hair pulled up.

I have never used it even when it snows. Go figure.

I don't use one either, but I have a pretty rainbow one that my friend knitted for me. The kids wear them when they play in the snow (what little we get.)

OK so, weekend in a nutshell.

Friday nite the neighbor texted we sould come have a beer on her porch and soak up the sun. Unfortunately, #1. when I drink I compulsively smoke (gross, believe me i know, its terrible) and #2. we never get home before the middle of the night if we go to their house and I was singing in a wedding at 10:30 Saturday morning.

Woohoo

Saturday, sang in the wedding, actually didn't feel too bad, went home, grabbed older child, went to Fargo. Tried to get stuff for the camper, but we went to Target because it was less busy than walMart and EVERYTHING was outrageously overpriced so I ended up buying NOTHING, took the kid to xmen, went to get some grocey items we can only get in the big city, went home.

Sunday had church, might not have gone due to the weather being SO nice, but I was helping with the singing so yeah. went home and cooked lunch b/c DH is a big baby and all he thinks about is food. OK I wish all he thought about was food. then hopped on the mower and took care of the yards which took 4EVER because halfway thru my mowing DH decided to stop fixing the tractor and made me stop so he could put new blades on... so now the front yard looks like junk b/c I did it with the old blades, and the backyard is gorgeous. after that I planted the rest of my garden, searched for our new baby kitty - Rhubarb - and mixed bottles for the bottle calf. The kids and DH were helping our friends shingle, since they lost half their roof the other night in the straight line winds, so I had a quiet house in which to do laundry and dishes and catch up on Camelot. Very nice.

Its currently about 82F out and I am stuck in here.... oh and the library doesnt have their wifi on today so if I want to download my new books I have to go to McDonalds....

Ok I am ready for bed now after reading that.

LOL that wasnt even productive for us, we feel like theres still 2 more days of work to get done before we can call it a good weekend... I have decided that the WORST thing to have to do is figure out what goes where in my camper kitchen... everything is gonna shift and the shelves are thin cardboardy stuff with no middle supports... so canned goods go.....?

Problem with that, there arent doors to the under-seat storage... instead I have to remove the cushions and lift a piece of plywood to get to the storage... if I have to do that much work for a can of pork n beans then I might as well just store everything in a tote on the floor..... I have LOTS of cupboard space, HUGE, but you open a door and its all one big space instead of each door being its own compartment, which is making it difficult. I have never stocked a camper... I might have to go spend an hour in my mother in laws camper to see how she stores things....
