Morning everyone.

Apparently there were way too many bunnies on here over the weekend.

Weekend recap:

Saturday cleaned house, did like 87 loads of laundry, DH had to work till noon, so he got home and decided that we were going to take the camper out for its inagural trip... so I had like 45 minutes to stock the kitchen and get us all packed. AND he was a naught word the WHOLE time so I was like "why are we going camping if you're crabby about it and it was YOUR idea?!"
Then before we left he spoted 4 fox kits behind the barn (no wonder my ducks are afraid to go out of the front yard) so out we went with firearms... one down, 3 to go.
Got to the lake and the kids vanished... good thing the BIL and his fam camp there all summer so my kids just run with the pack there. DS#1 caught a northern pike, he was so thrilled.

Sunday we hung out, it rained a bit so I read my nook while the kids ran wild. Got home and we all crashed, worn out.

SO unproductive.

I'd rather be unproductive out camping then unproductive sitting at home. Pike is good, lots of bones but good. I did manage to read a book and catch up on my rest this weekend though.

Don't know what to make of all these bunnies! Cute but they don't even lay eggs!

Yeah, I wish we could. My life would be so improved.

Oh wait, I post annoying crap. Nevermind, carry on.

Chicken update......down to 10 chickens in my big coop. Moved 6 young cockerels into cages in there to learn where they belong.

Have 8 young pullets in the crippled babysitter pen. Yes, I have a crippled chicken. She has a slipped tendon. She hops around on one leg and does pretty well. She is happy. Can't bring myself to cull her. She lives in my 8x8 baby pen and gets to babysit all the younguns who no longer need heat but aren't big enough to go into the big yard. She gets company and they get a nice pen to play in.

Still have 6 new hamp chicks and 10 orps in a brooder in the garage. Plus the evil broody plus 2 chicks in a brooder in the garage. Plus the nice broody plus 10 or so chicks in the 4x4 coop. Plus the mottled cochin plus 2 babies. Plus 3 broodies in the motttled pen (along with about 5 non broody chickens)

Ha ha ha....they're everywhere today. I feel I have done my duty by posting a relevent chicken related post. I can now die happy. Er. Or. Uh. Not.
