I am up to my freaking eyeballs in alligators here at work, and now DH's mother is pressuring us to go to church tonight, of all things. Good thing my hair is too short to effectively pull out...

My mom used to call me from the church if we weren't there. Then she started missing a lot because she's "tired" a lot (only 56 years old, not sure why she thinks she's so old...) and after me calling her a few times to run it in she stopped.

Few days ago, I had a guy in front of a 99 cent store panhandling. now you have to picture this, i'm in my wheelchair being pushed up a ramp by an 11 year old, and he's asking me for help... I say i'm out of change, sorry.
"come on lady what would jesus do?"
"dude, nice effort, but i'm an atheist"
when I went back out 5 minutes later, he was still laughing.
