Doodah is still alive....but still doesn't look good. Still doesn't seem to really be eating and still just kind of sitting there hunched up. I made sure the poop chute was all clear this morning....

I am over-capacity too---well not really. Mostly over capacity. I HAVE plenty of space, but I have pooped in the eye of the "Limit 20 birds for 10,000 sq ft" rule.

But officer, we are WAY closer to 20K sq ft, and the neighbor said I can have his WHOLE YARD.

With the loss of the turkeys, and the processing of the meaties, and the sale of those pullets last month, I am actually doing pretty well.

Until you look in the brooder. I don't know how many I hatched over the Easter hatch. Lets think...

+12 silkies and MFNNs
- 1 showgirl
+ 1 Mottled houdan
+ 5 Duckles
+ 4 SS
- 1 Crustache (died yesterday)
+ 6 SS (apparently ordered from the feed store back in October)
+ 6 Aloha chicks

= 32 ?!

That CANNOT be right.

There is NO WAY there are 32 chicks in that brooder.

...

Plus the 26 eggs I set from the Warden on Monday, the 12ish tukey eggs from my hens due on the 27th, and 4 dozen eggs I am hatching for Sommer.

Oh poor little baby bunny....Only ugly gross pain in the rear things should die, not cute lovey cuddly things.

Morning All! I'm trying to avoid the idiot in the office today but for some god awful reason it seems to like me and I've been mean believe me (gotta earn my mean girl badge). She really is an idiot, I'm not making it up at allllll.

Does anyone wanna a goof ball of a dog. My wonderful dear son (yes please note the sarcasm) is going to be moving home (I'm forcing him to until we get his finances and school stuff straight) and I just dont have room for his dog. I already have four one of which belongs to my daughter and my doxies do not like the pup (they are extremely selfish and do not want the pup near me or DH). She's really a sweet mutt (labrador mix) but is HUGE! I think she has dane in her. She's just a big goof ball!

If you guys could spare a thought or prayer for a friend of mine - she's in the hospital. Her water broke last night, but she's only at 33 weeks.

Orchy sending thoughts and prayers! I've seen babies survive at much younger gestational age. So keep thinking positive! ((HUG))

Orchy-- No worries for 33 weeks. Baby will be perfect. All prayers are for momma, who could have had another 7 weeks, cry free....

Thanks Bows! She is at Abbot-Northwestern and they are going to do steroid shots and try to hold him in there until Friday, which will be 34 weeks. This was a "surprise" pregnancy for her as she never intended to have children - she's definitely getting the full inauguration!
