Who thought teenager girls were a good idea? I'm thinkin we need an island to send them to, they can come back when they are 23 and the heads finally stop spinning.

I just deleted a completely ban-worthy post. I'm sure your minds have all wandered down a similar path so "nuff said".

Ah, the beauty of the interwebs - the ability to speak your mind and then take it all back before anyone sees it!

How's the weather up your way Michelle?

Yes, please!

His birthday is a few days after Christmas, which means he can't start kindergarden until this August. The Daycare ladies were complaining he already knew everything they teach in preschool and was becomming disruptive during class.

So, since I am unemployed, I have been homeschooling the days he is home from daycare.

We have already gone through 10+ books of Pre-K through First Grade. The only things he is having problem with are money and reading/writing. He couldn't read AT ALL when we started, but now I catch him sounding out street signs.

SO: Pen pals get him excited about
1)Reading
2)writing
3)geography (I put stickers on the map when we get a letter from a new place)
4) whatever random junk you all write about. Local animals, history, mountains, movies, etc.

*packs up Charlotte to send her off also*

Sounds good to me. Dear sweet child has had a bedtime of 8:30 EVERY day for this month so far because she's being obnoxious, whiny and bratty. She's giving Annika a run for her money on toddler hissy fits.

Oh, thank you. I can breathe again. You're the best, Algae.

You are most welcome. Always glad to provide entertainment.

Windy and warm. We have been up in the high 50's and low 60's. Yesterday was calm but I can hear it blowing now. We are known for our winds, they are frequent and get up around 50- 70 mph.

Have you see my cell phone? I hear it vibrating but I can't find it
