After last weekend's little routine medical procedure followed by catering a graduation from law school party for the SD that involved the entire EX-wife's family and massive amounts of personal humiliation I just want all you OW'ers to know as you head back to work......Sunday nights don't get better than this!!!! Dang!!! what a wonderful day I had with my chickens, flowers, dogs, cat and DH!!!!

Michelle, we took our entire wedding party to Gillette Castle in Essex, CT the day after the wedding. We had a great time!

PS---Don't think Margies and posting on BYC is such a great combo.......gotta go close the coop!

Happy Memorial Day to you Deb!
No work for me today either.
Then I work Mon and Tues and off for two weeks again.
I will have a part time summer position for one month, then off two weeks, and then the new school year begins again.

I bought GD some clothes and took them to her and she was so excited.
Then yesterday when I went over there again, she brought me one of the outfits I bought her and wanted t wear it.
She is just so cute!

I also went with my youngest son to order his kayak. Yep, he's going to do some kayaking this summer.
Today I will play with pony a bit and also play with GS.

Mornin pboo, I would LOVE to be off for two weeks. How old is your granddaughter? I've been thinking about taking a couple of kayak lessons. it looks like fun and good exercise.

My GD is two years. And another GD will be born in August, those two from my middle son. My GS is from my oldest son.
Kayaking is very good on building arm strength. Right near us is the Elkhorn Slough, where there is a lot of wildlife, different birds and otters and stuff to look at. It is very calm water and you can spend hours going up and down the slough. You can also go out into the ocean if you want. There are places over in Monterey too, that you can go and I'm sure a lot of other places that I do not know of.
The son that just bought a kayak, I had him take lessons when he was about 8 years old or so. He had a lot of fun. My middle son also had kayak lessons when he was around 12. There are places around here to rent kayaks, and he's done that a few times, so now he got his own. He picks it up June 9th. I saw a smaller kayak at the store that I thought, hmm, that's my size. Maybe one day I can rent one and him and I can go together. I'm sure I will not be able to keep up with him though. lol

Its nice having so much time off, but I do not get paid for my time off, that part is not so good.

Buffy that is a great looking fish, and you look so happy too!

Very nice. I like fishing and have a bunch of fish in my pond that need to come out but I don't like cleaning fish, especially catfish.

I did lots of tractor yard work today, in the heat.

Both my grandkids came over today! We had fun playing.

And it was my dad's b-day so we all sang happy b-day and ate brownies and ice cream!

Nice catch Buff!
