My kids have been on summer vacay since May 26. Daycare lady is already tired of summer.

Ugh, why do people insist on swimming in cheap perfume instead of taking a shower?????

We are supposed to be in a scent-free building. Ugh. So since we don't have other perfume and such going on here, it's all the worse.

I've got a colombia....from good ol farm and fleet....I've got carhart too but it's not an arctic one and I wish someone else would break it in for me. I like them all broken in...so I hardly wear it. Instead I wear the one that has a huge hole in the pocket but only for farmy type of chores.

I've got another black "prettier" coat for days I'm supposed to look respectable...like church but there's times wear that doesn't matter when the cold winter wind is howling and then I wear my baby blue colombia even if it's grungy and dirty looking and needed a wash a week ago. That's right... I'm grunge. I didn't earn my grubby gretch status for nothin.

I've got to wait around for my stupid stove repair guy but I really wanted to go bedroom shopping for my oldest, Zoe 9 almost 10 yrs old....she has "reluctantly" handed down her mini-bunk bed with a slide to her 5 yr. old sister, Ava, and we will get her a bunk bed that has 2 beds so she can have a spare for a friend and then she gets to pick out her covers for the bunks....but I may have been gearing her for stuff I can stand....for example...she says she likes "dark pink" which happens to be hot pink...which happens to burn my eyes because that's what the spare bedroom is painted that and lime green in the down stairs bedroom but I'm changing it SOON!!!

I'm trying to gear her to lavender or something soft and pretty and then I saw these "teen" comforters that are cool that would be rich in color...so my thoughts....I will not paint a mural on her bedroom wall like Ava's room has...and Zoe said she requested trees, flowers, and lots of cats....and I said, hmmm....how about..... 1 color on the wall in a soft tone....and bright vivid comforters??? mom says: yay! and Zoe says.... ooookaaay.

I think I'm actually diggin on the second comforter plus it's price. I'm tired of buying the less expensive comfortors at the other stores only to have them fade and come apart quickly. So I may as well invest in something worth while.

Oh and BOO!!!! I wanted to comment on your put a baby doll in the pool suggestion...now that's just sick and wrong. I mean...a dead kid is not something to joke about....and I thought about it but figured they'd all float and I wanted one that would sink to the bottom and a heavy manniquin to play dead on the botton of the pool would have been more dramatic. I once had a friend that had one and it lived in her living room and we were always changing her outfits....and at Christmas she wore lights. ooooh the fun of high school grads with thier own apartments.

We have scent policies (oh but no ethics - still sore about the hiring thing last week) but no one follows them. Even the director, who sends out the reminder emails, wears plenty of cologne.
