Vanilla bean yogurt and hazelnut coffee. That was a great way to start the day. Then I come in and my office mate has on black corduroy pants that are WAY too tight, highlighting areas of the body that should never be highlighted.

Well he didnt attack me when I went to get the eggs but he is intimidating LOL. I think with time he'll actually be a really good roo. He shoo's the girls to the side of the pen when I go in, so he's protective of them which is something I like. He didnt attack me either when I had to catch him at his old home, he just ran. I have to look up the potato method thanks Algae.

Inside lightening is a new concept to me. Someone can turn the steam machine off any time now.

Not a problem. To be honest, we just do it to keep the spurs looking "pretty" for when the kids show them for 4-H. Make sure the roos toenails are trimmed also, those are what I've seen take more feathers off than the spurs. The spurs just kind of rough up the feathers.

You can just take a pair of pliers and rock/twist them back and forth for a while and the cap will come off. The potato method, they bleed less and are more comfortable I think.

I agree that baby bunnies look like rats. Can't wait til it gets some fur....

The nice part about her having only 1 baby? This was a pet quality litter....I actually regretted the pairing after I had done it. The buck is big and the doe is big. It was a poor choice. The only bright point in the pairing was the coloring. And so the only way I would keep one was if it was nicely colored. And looks like the only baby is pointed, whooo. This is my trial run before Tribble and Fancy's litters (sired by Puff) are due next month. Getting the new buck and doe this weekend. Considering breeding BP next week......wonder if I have another doe that could be bred with her? I am a fan of the pair breeding so I always have a backup doe......in case momma bunny goes all rage against the babies......

....on lunch break at work. Can ya tell I'm bored?

WTHay? Is it co-worker fashion train wreck today?????? While I realize I am none too attractive now, even I am better dressed than the idiot over the wall and 2 cages, I mean cubes down. Tighter than skin tight formerly white jean capris that are stained in a blotchy pattern of doom, looks like a few cats puked on them, then baby puke, then chicken crap.... A red loose knit top that has open holes in it. A teal bra under that. A pair of beat up and falling apart fake Birkenstocks. And her favorite way to do her hair, NEVER wash it and put it into a weird pony tail thing with about 8 snap clips to hold it back.
