Speaking of, he got up this morning all cranky at me for messing with his ear all night. He said I kept tickling his ear with my fingers in my sleep and it kept him up all night. Ten minutes later I saw a tick in his ear, yeah, sucking the life out of him.

I would've been screaming. Ticks are new to us, I think i've only seen mosquitos once or twice as well.

We have no ticks here in the desert. We did have a few when I lived in Bishop, but the southern parts of this state, not so much. Fleas yes, ticks no. No fleas in the desert either.
