I've said that too. But I am VERY careful to only critique the behavior and not the kid.

I may want to say, "You are being a total ahole" but I usually end up saying, "I am not liking your attitude right now. Calling names is not nice."

Well, there is that. I don't care if I look cruel, my kids wont grow up with entitlement issues like all the ones that get coddled

I'm so glad that my kids are grown (not that its really any easier, just different). At least I dont have to worry about daycare and teachers and etc.....
