DS#1 has a rash from the virus he had, as I suspected. He also has a super nice doctor who gave him prednisone to get the itching under control faster.

DS#2 did not return to the nurse with his stomachache so I think he was just looking for an easy out of school. He must not remember last year when he pulled that stunt one too many times and I took him to the clinic for a massive blood draw. Where's that witch emoticon when I need it...

Freakin' kidney stones. I tried to tough it out but finally went to the hospital. Time for a major lifestyle change. Drink lots more water and cut way back on the good stuff like chocolate and nuts.

gasp!!!! Runs and steals all of dacs kidney stones...er, chocolate and nuts...what do i want kidney stoes for? show and tell? ooo...that could be fun.

...and since we are talking about sick kids, I've got lil miss Ava coughy hackingpants home today. Now she isn't coughing like she was yesterday...man, I was like, how am I gonna send her to school like that? Then she hacks all night in her sleep...sits up rather jovial and exclaims, "Next time I'm gonna eat a WHOLE apple!!!" and then lays back down and goes back to sleep.

I may or may have not given her a dose of the cough syrup with codeine in it before bedtime....
