I've been reading up on A7X.

Dacs, if you were listening to something from their early works (lots of screaming) then don't bother.
The more recent stuff is supposedly less 'metalcore' and more 'hard rock'. The lead singer even studied with the vocal coach for Motley Crue and other bands to improve his abilities.

This is a more recent video, and from the album that they're promoting on this tour.
I have to admit that there are parts of this song that are quite lyrical, and the guitarist is spectacular on his part.
I may enjoy tonight more than I thought, as long as I find a pair of earplugs!

My next project is to learn more about the bands opening for them. DD was as thrilled over those as she is with A7X.

Interesting bit of lore for Hollywood Undead:
The band only took one year working on their debut album, Swan Songs. The other two years were spent looking for a company that wouldn't try to censor the album.

Supposedly "Hear Me Now" is a good song. They mix genres a lot, and are hard to classify.

New Medicine is relatively new (oh the irony). Wikipedia barely gives them 1/2 a page.

Can't rememebr much about Stone Sour, but they've been around for a bit. They're named after an alcoholic beverage.

I told ya you can have my old blazer. shhh...dac, don't tell her how it needs brakes, a new tire, and has a leak in the manifold and hasn't been run in 2 years. But she always started for me no matter what the weather before. I just found the title...just come and get it.

Too much of a hassle? yeah, probably. sigh.
