Bows, I skipped margaritas last night for fear of waking up wiht a Super Bowl head.

This morning when I turned Oscar Emu's egg it felt like it JUMPED out of my hand!!!
It felt a little that way yesterday and Saturday, too, but I was in a hurry those days and thought maybe I imgained it.

So this morning I took my time and had my eyes closed and my senses ready and it IS heavier in one spot!!!
I think that means (from what I've read) that development is taking place.

I am trying not to get my hopes up. It is a shipped egg, after all, so it already has some strikes against it.
But then again, DH would be really peeved at having an emu in the house for 2 months, so that's some karma in favor of a successful hatch.

Morning looney tunes.

OMG I must tell you about last night. So one of my pills is a capsule. You know how often when you take pills, it feels like they are stuck in your throat? Well, I took the pill and it felt wonky but I drank water and figured whatever. So a few minutes later I burp (lol). And the capsule must have been stuck in my throat because is breaks apart and powder goes shooting up my throat and nose! OMG I ALMOST DIED. It burned so badly.......I drank water like crazy, spit out, blew my nose, etc etc etc. It was horrific. Never knew THAT could happen. The stuff is horrible.......it burned my throat. It's actually all red and irritated looking and today feels like I have strep throat with the burning. Sigh.

I am fail.

BTW (like that text talk?), I found a thread heading south. It's about taxes. Maybe I can say something harmless on it just so it gets shut down for I am a thread killer.

Nella drink at least an eight ounce glass of water before taking your pills and then another four to six after to wash it all the way down. When you put the pills in your mouth swirl the water around the pills for a second or two. It will help immensely. We have patients complain about that all the time with antibiotics. Sorry your throat hurts so bad.

Dac, I read only the first few posts. I wish I could get $3800 back. I usually pay the same to get my taxes done as I get back. Therefore I break even, for the most part. Because I have no children and bought a house within my budget, so have no gigantor tax writeoff of the interest.

Guess I need to start working the system too. Sigh.

I did 5 minutes on my elliptical yesterday, and wondered if you had done your 'time'.
Before that I hauled a 50# bag of feed to the coop.

I cancelled it out with 6 Chips-Ahoy cookies and a smidgen of milk.

Beaner, when I take the big old horse-pill sized antibiotics, I always eat a cracker or something afterwards. I've never burped up a pill, but I get terrible pill-heartburn where it feels like a hole is being eaten away in my esophagus....
