Yeah, I guess so. But not if you have a guilt complex the rest of your life and you know your mom passed away while still disappointed in you.

To quote Nells, "le sigh".

Oh wow, cool. My friend in cali wanted me to have that so he could check in on me. Member he came home for a year and helped take care of me? Took me to the hospital a few times and then the nurses would scold us for laughing and setting my heart monitor off

but it's the first tues. of the month and it always gets tested. Since it's been installed a year or 2 back? It's gone off one time for the real deal but what I didn't know was it rings in the whole county of Winnebago...so the tornado hit a good 35 min. from here heading in the other direction. I kept looking outside going what? And called my sister in Chicago at work and told her the sirens were going off and she's like...so WHY are you talking to me and not getting in your basement?

And I'm like....call me when I can come out.

You know your momma loved you. YOU didn't disappoint her, just some of your choices did. And you have to make mistakes, so you know when you are really back on the right path.

Buff for the most part we all did things that weren't of the nicest nature. But! you learned from it and changed as you matured. I'm sure your mother knows you love her and she's proud of you. Moms just know those things (whether here on earth or in the heavens)

You found your Shift key!!!!!!!!!!

"Exceed the meaning". I love that. You know what they say, always try to go above and beyond people's expectations.

I told my boys the other day they can be whatever they want when they grow up, as long as they're "good guys".

You're a good guy, Buffy.

My mom wanted me to set a good example.

Instead, I served as a terrible warning.

It must've worked; Both of my younger siblings are very successful, married well, and have perfect kids.

On a work related note:

The paper fairy has been crapping on my desk. So the boss dropped a box off, smooshing all the sorted paper-fairy splort. It was all in such neat piles, too.

<le sigh>
