sure thing. My OCD friend wants to come here and help me chuck things...in her rubber purple gloves. And here I thought they only came in yellow...she's so fashionable. But she'd chuck more than I would...I still think I'm doing good.

I don't care for Tom Petty, so I'm not upset that you can't find the video. He has a tenuous, yet grating and whining voice, and he looks like he died 10 years ago and forgot to be buried.

Heresy! I spent high school listening to his greatest hits album, driving around drinking Busch Light.

Juthro Tull for me and not liqued but mj.

Just got back from the vet's office. Had blood panel and thyroid done on the little monster.......all came back normal.

Actually, his liver enzymes are usually high.....and they were right in the middle of the normal range. I started him on denosyl sd4 10 days ago, I credit that with the vast improvement.

Other than that.....he used to weigh a little over 15lbs and now weighs just over 12lbs. Is he being picky? Holding out for the canned food? Burning calories chasing Lucy around?

Who knows. Vet was comfortable enough to not even do any bloodwork for now unless i wanted to (and I did, obviously LOL)......we will do the phenobarb levels in a few months when they come due. Other than that......just keeping an eye on him.

and guess how much all of that costs? $77. Can't beat that. Office exam, blood panel and thyroid panel. I like this vet! Also helps they have "walk in" hours every morning until 11am so you can always get in if you need to, even on short notice.

Now, time to get changed and go to work. Le sigh.

I found the video and watched it all the way through. I didn't feel like posting the link.

Mary Jane's Last Dance. Mary is dead. Tom Petty works in a mortuary and steals the body.

And yet the back story is hilarious, since 'Mary Jane' was paying off back taxes with the job, so playing a dead body was like shooting the IRS a bird. I laughed when I saw it.

I am a Tom Petty fan. Listen to the words of some of his songs. Hilarious!

For me it was post-college, with a Desecrated Driver after an evening spent alternating shots of butterscotch schnaps and moonshine.

But my favorite was listening to the cassette with Zombie Zoo on it. You haven't had fun until you have a car full of sloshed ladies belting out Zombie Zoo at the top of their lungs on a hot summer night as they drive around the city. I don't know where we were going but we had a lot of fun getting there....

I caused my parents a lot of grief. The funny thing is, when they thought I was off the straight and narrow is when I was pretty close to it. When I strayed they were clueless. Then I left home.

oh nelly.... I don't know. He could be having issues having a new cat? Some cats do that. He's not long haired and your house seemed to tidy to have any string or blankets with fringe he could have eaten and gotten lodged in his intestinal tract and he'd be acting worse and the dr. would possibly feel swelling in his tummy. Let's think....what else would make him drop pounds but not show up on a panel?? hmm.......
