If I said I was gonna use his tools he would stay home to be sure I didnt touch them... I want him to leave and take the kids with him...

Exactly! So lay out your canning supplies and scare him far far away...

Actually, my DH 'helps' me can. Lost a whole jar of blackberry jelly one day because of him. He got me a whole new set of chicken dishtowels for the kitchen after that, though!

I hope I made him feel bad this morning...maybe he'll take the kids out of guilt. But most likely, since my mouth is faster than my brain, he's mad because I very accurately compared him to his favorite body part...
