I am supposedly a wildlife biologist for the USDA Forest Service. That is forest, not forestry. I get to travel all over the country doing wildlife field work on different national forests. Most of the work pertains to somewhat rare (for that area) animals. What I actually do depends on the forest and the animal. Right now I am surveying for Northern Goshawks http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Northern_Goshawk/lifehistory . I have to follow a protocol that can also vary from forest to forest. Here is a sample protocol.

It's Saturday morning here guys, and I just checked out all the posts that happened since I left yesterday. If I commented on every one that made me laugh, I'd be here all day. You guys are great!

Buffy! The Pillars of the Earth mini-series is exactly like the book!! I was very impressed!!
Even DH liked it.

Now we have to wait for next Friday to watch part 2. There will be a lot of parts, it was a looooong book.
