Reminds me of "to be frank". As opposed to weasily?

Speaking of frank, my maiden name started with "F" and my mom used to have to spell it for people otherwise they'd think she was saying "Fink", or "Sick". So I grew up wondering if my last name was "Effasinfrank i c k".

I dont' want to be Frank and for that matter dont' call me Shirley

Wow Shirley that does sound like a peeve to me...... LOL

I'm back for a few. Finished the task and the darn person never came in.

Husband says, "Take the right tact."

OK- TECHNICALLY it is correct. But it cheeses me off. He also has the Tombstone accent where alll his descriptor words end in "TH". So, "heigth", "Weigth", "width", "length"......."yellowth"

No, isn't it "tack" like when you are on a sailboat?

Pretty sure impaction is when things fail to move.
Like when DH eats too much cheese...

When a horses intestinal tract is backed up it's called an impaction. So yes, it's what they DON'T do.

See? I'm not deliberately confusing!! It just comes naturally to me.

Luckily back then, telemarketing hadn't been invented. But kids on the school bus were cruel. I had to get married just to achieve a two-syllable name.

I got married to save on ink but yet with only 4 letters in the last name people still screw it up??? So when I spell it for others I say the following "B as in Boy, A, T like Thomas, Z as in Zebra" Still get Blatz, Betz, Barts, Bates......etc, etc.......

Had two croakers yesterday. They were youngsters...maybe 12-16 weeks? Not heat stroke, not the respiratory thing I was dealing with....We were pretty sure my flock was exposed to Marek's, but now I vaccinate everyone. This "age group" of teenagers is the last batch of un-vaccinated chicks. Is it wrong to hope "if you all are gonna die, just hurry up and do it, all at once"?

Yes.
Tact could be correct if you're discussing diplomacy, though.

As opposed to deflecting hot air.

I'm a procrastinator. I always have to rush when things have to actually be completed.

Procrastinators unite!!! Well, maybe tomorrow......

ok, thanks. I feel so bad about the ones I can't help--or even make comfortable.

I am not allowed to put them down anymore. There was an incident. I tried once, twice, three times.....on the same bird.
