Hear hear. (One exception: mandatory coffee preparation)

Tea preparation. Not coffee...

Lori's Mandatory Duty: Tea Prep. Get to it! I've got my coffee breath goin' full on.

Have a bottle of iced green chai tea on my desk already.

DD had coffee this morning, heavily laced with milk & chocolate syrup.
(note to self; get more Carnation GoodStart to use instead of the syrup.)

This is an item you will never see in my personal vicinity. Green tea gives me the creeps. Vile.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to ship something to Ecuador and the address is only six miles long. Wish me luck.

Luck.

And make sure you fill out the 2 dozen forms that go with it....

And green tea is good, and good for you. Makes perfect sense that it would scare you. Had any cheetos lately?

That's part of the problem. I do a lot of things that are good for me, but I have to draw the line SOMEwhere.

Haven't had a Cheeto in months. Must rectify that at lunch today.

I've been trying to be good for me. I suck at it. I'll keep trying though.

I was going to join the gym with DD, but they want a 2-year contract. So I multiplied out the fees and found that I can buy a pretty good elliptical for the same $ and never have to leave the house. Plus, DH would use it as well as me & DD. Been shopping around online, wil do some testing at stores over the weekend.

Desperately need to sell some chickens. I have 26 chicks from my lavender project...
DH is trying not to gripe. He's being very supportive of all diversions right now. He even bought me a dehydrator last night ($249 for the plush 9 level w/ timer model).
He's not very supportive of the foster child idea though. I'm not ready to push that issue, though. Need a little more time, and a little more research.

I didn't know you were thinking of fostering. Regarding your husband, you've planted the idea as a seed. If it's meant to grow, it will. You're wise not to push it.

Regarding exercise, I swear by exercise DVD's. I've always worked out at home - so much easier than getting my lazy butt out the door to a gym.

Off to ship something to Chile.

DD requested fostering a little over a year ago (she first requested a baby brother, but that's a no-can-do). I said we had to wait before we could decide.
I set some conditions for her that would have to be met to prove she was serious. She's meeting them. DH has noticed her behavior and been pleasantly surprised (he didn't know they were conditions). He's still suspicious, since they have along history of butting heads.
I don't know if the seed will grow. I'm not sure what I'm ready for, either, but I can also see that I could easily smother her if I didn't have too many chickens to tend to....

I tried exercise DVD's, but just can't get into them. I do my back exercises regularly so that I don't have to walk with a cane (sciatic issue) and I have hand weights that I use a little less regularly. Watching tv and exercising is my fave, so I think the elliptical will get use. For DD, it will be plugging in the iPod and rocking out as she uses it. She's lost 4" off her waist between summer camp and marching band, so we'd both like to make sure she keeps active and in shape.

Aren't you the international shipper these days!
Personally, I'd rather receive the international packages. E-Bay sellers hated it when I asked them to use stamps so that I could add them to my stamp collection LOL (yes, I'm that big of a geek) company I had my co-workers trained to bring me all the 'weird' stamps.
Have you seen the cartoon stamps? I already mailed myself a Garfield.

Green tea tastes like pine needles, and yes I know what pine needles taste like. I was an adventurous kid. I like regular old black tea for iced tea and echinaccea (sp?) and a few other herbals for my winter tea consumption.

Now, i'm off to save the world, one food stamp case at a time.
