DH used to brew pine needle tea in the Army. Can't let it steep too long, but he says its a good energy drink.

I have an assortment of teas, all unsweetened, that I use regularly depending on mood and health. I especially love Breathe Easy & Gypsy Cold Care when I feel yucky. I eat the honey off the spoon, then drink the tea....

Got your cape on Sparkles? If so, watch out for rotary blades....

This is an item you will never see in my personal vicinity. Green tea gives me the creeps. Vile.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to ship something to Ecuador and the address is only six miles long. Wish me luck.

By the time you fill out the address you could have hand delivered the item.

Lori, you and I are twin geeks! I have a stamp collection too! Not a serious one, but "pretty ones". I've got them from all over the world, my faves are NZ, UK and Australian stamps - they're the prettiest.

Re: exercise, everybody has a workout personality and there's always a workout to fit it. 4" off a waist? It's workin'!

I got FedEx to do it for me. Helicopteros de la Aeronautica Nacional Servicous Pty Ltd SA SPa GmbH etc etc etc After a few of those addresses, you start to go cross-eyed.

One of my customers keeps sending me URGENT!!! requests today. I just sent the last one back to him with a note that says "Here is your 2nd urgent request of the day returned quickly. My birthday is Thursday, I prefer cheesecake and flowers. You're welcome."

Lori..keep checking out gyms...they are a better bet. We pay $70 per month for our family membership (which includes Cheyenne) and the contract is only 1 year. I find that working out at home is useless because it can be avoided to easily. While not trying to lose weight and etc but in fact the opposite, I need to get out and at the gym in order to focus.

And by the way...lifting weights is a good way to lose weight...build muscle because muscle literally eats fat. It is also denser so it takes up less space which means your clothing requirements are smaller. Say a pound of fat is this big [ ] a pound of muscle would be this big [ ]

speaking of which I need to get dressed because we are hitting the gym at 5 pm toodles!

It really isnt worth trying at this point. My friend is head of ISG, and he wants me to play in his band. So, I am thinking a trade---especially since he is wants me to sing.

Since easy garden is still open to me, I should go hang over there, ya know?

I agree with Buffy - you've planted the seed....

I wanted to foster and we started to fill out paperwork, but my husband got cold feet, so we backed off for a while. Several years later, friends of ours began fostering and once he met some of the kids that were placed with them, he got really excited about it. The foster kids they got were just kids - they laughed, cried, hugged, did their homework, etc. I think he had a mental image of tiny thugs or something and once he met a few kids, he realized they're not all scarred and broken, sometimes they're just kids that need to know someone cares. Granted, they all have sad stories, but they're still just kids.

When you're ready, try meeting some foster kids and maybe he'll open his heart.

If you really want a tear-jerker - check out the list of kids available for adoption in your state! All those kids just waiting to be adopted - some of the stories mention how much the kids like animals and want to live on a farm or grow up to be a vet.

I am gearing up to start fostering. Need to take the 30+hour classes, and finish the extra room. Right now there are eggs hatching in there...

Sparkles has been talking me into/through my worries. She rocks.
