Hi Buffy
frow.gif

That sale is good only for getting rid of things at rock bottom prices. Supposedly in the spring I would have had great luck selling these cochins.....as of now, nobody seems interested. Sigh. We'll see what happens this weekend. The sale prior to this last one, I sold everything I brought.....so hmmm......

Btw, if I ever use an inappropriate smiley face, SORRY. They don't show "movement" here so I have to guess which one is which. i think I picked the waving one up there, but it could just easily be the THUD one. LOL

Miss ya, Buffy.
Stick your tongue out at her when she tuirns her back. It will make you feel better. Just watch out for reflective surfaces!

Hi Buffy! Bye Buffy!

DH just informed me it's a good thing I wore a beige bra since my sweater is kinda see-through. Great. That's what I get for not looking in the mirror before I left this morning!

BTW, Beaner, the thud smiley would work for today since Buffy is barely gracing us with her royal presence.... but you DID get it right

I love broody birds! DH hates when I rear chicks in the house, so this spring, I bought bantam Cochin, Silkie and Cochin/Silkie mixed eggs to build up a broody flock to raise chicks outside. They've barely begun to lay, but since I've added them, I've had quite a few of my standard chickens go broody, so I think I may have over-cultivated broodiness in my flock.

I'm headed to a sale this weekend, too - the association that puts these on was kind enough to plan one about 3 miles from my house.

I need to get rid of all those babies recently hatched and some adults that didn't sell last time. I usually just give away young cockrels and I never ask what the buyer plans to do with them.

Ooooh no! He'd enjoy that entirely too much! As it was I thought I'd never get him out of here, the ogling goober.

I think you guys are really a bad influence on me. I'm dreaming of BBS Orpington chicks for next spring....now I just have to figure out where I'm going to get some, and where I'm going to put them!

You wear the same sweater at home, sans bra, and ask hubby to build you a new coop. You know, while he's 'in the mood' to agree with anything!

Buffy, it's a blue/black/splash. Not my thing but they are 'in'.
