Office Work.......

At the OH Nationals there were ordinary bunnies for $10 and my daughter begged for one. I said no, if we ever got one it would be a lionhead (thinking to myself that it would be practice for an angora).

Then I went to see the black mottled d'Uccles A.C. was getting and when the lady opened her truck there were bunnies in the back! I said, "A lionhead!" and the lady was amazed I knew what they were. I related my conversation from earlier, thinking to myslef, "This is DESTINY. I'm getting a bunny." Then the lady said they were already sold, as were the angoras!!! She had a truck full of the exact bunnies I wanted and they were already sold

Clearly, Destiny was telling me no bunnies yet.
<sigh>

Beaner, I hope you don't have baby bunnies. DH is already working so hard at not being mad at me about the chicks in the house....

Because DD would have to clean the cage more often (she already whines enough about that) and because of Cinderella didn't like the bun we'd be screwed.

DH already wants to get rid of the gp and use her cage for the chickens....

Is your GP litter box trained? Both my bunnies are and it makes everything so much easier. I just dump the litterboxes twice a week and vacuum up any stray poop pellets that have been kicked around.

On a sidenote, I have no idea if GP can even BE litterbox trained. It was very very easy on the bunnies though. They pretty much taught themselves.

They can be litterbox trained. It takes a little more work than it does with rabbits.

We call it suck it up or die at my house too.

Haven't killed anything off yet.

Also, i should add.....thus far they have all SUCKED IT UP and not died. Mr Monroe the lionhead mix did attempt to boycott litterbox training when moved to the new cage. he got over it.

what if you only put the hay in the litterbox? Then she would just spend all her time in there. Wha la, inadvertent litterbox training LOL.

Stupid deer. Or rather, Smart Deer. I saw a big doe on the side of the road yesterday morning. she ran off when I got near and I didn't see if there were others. They're all over the place here. Probably because there are too many houses around to hunt.

also, the boyfriend is being stupid and I am annoyed. Or rather, he is not necessarily being stupid.......I am just annoyed. I even straightened my hair and planned to put on some makeup so we coudl have dinner. Now he hasn't even left Ohio yet, so scratch that idea. I went and put makeup on anyways, out of spite. At least I will look marginally attractive when I go to Home Depot later on. My bargaining power is relatively well hidden today, so must depend on other things to get decent service. I'd like 5 bags of gravel, 4 bags of sand, 3 pieces of plywood and 25 2x2' please. Feel free to load them all in my truck too. I'll be over here doing my nails, don't mind me.

The paino teacher's husband hasn't had much luck, either. He was planning on hauling his bow target fake deer out to try it as a decoy...

Cinderella is DD's gp, and she was really upset when Cin refused to walk around and acted all miserable. So I didn't argue.

I may try again, though, and put a layer of hay over paper fluff bedding. She eats the hay, but it is NOT a good moisture/odor absorber....

Throw them out, Beaner. Good posture will ensure the power is observed, even if it isn't offered on the half-shell. They'll help because it gives them more time to imagine what's under the wrappers....

All dressed up and... off to Home Depot. Could be a country song....

I love long hair, but this is too much, so I'm looking forward to it. I didn't want to go into labor before my haircut, so anytime afterwards is fine with me. I'm not in a hurry - babies are easier to take care of before they're born.
