I'm still pregnant. One week to my due date and I'm so uncomfortable. I've decided I'd like to deliver in December because I already have a child with a November birthday, so I already have a November birthstone on my mommy necklace and December's birthstone is soooooo pretty. Think I can make it? [groaning] Just incase I don't make it, I finished everything on my to-do list plus finished the Christmas cards and made about 50 generic greeting cards to cover every major event I could think of for the coming year. Today I went to Lowes and got the hardware to fix my panty cabinet and bought 200# of feed at the feed store. I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
Way to go, Dac! That looks like a tasty young buck. I thought DH was going to shoot one this year, but he hasn't even gotten a license, yet. I really wanted to have a full freezer. I'm too chicken to shoot one myself - I've never shot a gun before so I dont know if I'm any good, I don't think I can get a license without taking a safety course and I don't think I'm capable of getting up at 5am.
Orchid, I'm glad your horse pulled through his colic okay. I've never dealt with a colicky horse and I would've been scared to death. I'm so glad he's going to be okay and your vet is so awesome.
Lori, your Silkie haircutting experience was hilarious! I love my Silkies, but they're not the brightest bulbs in the box. I keep mine in a fenced run, so I don't notice their acts of idiocy quite as much.
Nella, I love your broody! She is adorably evil. Sorry she lost a chick; that happens sometimes. Is your mom going to do Christmas cards for you? My mom's not coming until Dec 5, but I've already promised the kids that she'll make cookies with them.
My newest craving is for Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls with icing, so I just made some. Yummy!
