Morning Dacs!

My argument against ponytailed men: The ponytails always are thin, scraggly and the hair never looks clean. Also, the length of ponytail is directly related to what is absent on top. Who are you kidding?

Argument against earrings on men: Jewelry is expensive, spend it on jewelry for the wifey.

Argument against tattoos:

Good arguments.

When the bun actually does come out of the oven, how will we know? We don't have a person in place to report back for us. What to do?

Maybe she can text everyone on her phone list. Wondering if she has my number.

Yes, I have it. I can't send a picture text, but I'll send you a text letting you know.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen.

Wegots, I hate nights like that. I am usually more tired when I wake up than when I went to bed if I dream about running all night.

It must have been the night for weird dreams. I dreamt that I was shopping at a mall somewhere, and this guy spotted me and insisted that I was going to be a model for him. In my dream, I'm in the changing room of some store trying on clothes, and I can hear him outside the changing room talking to my DH about how I'm going to be so famous, and I looked down at myself and thought "He's got to be from some men's magazine that deals in MILFs, with this body they're the only ones that would make me famous!"

Reminder to self: Take a picture of hubby for the tattoo, take a picture of my dad for the ponytail, send them to Buffy. You will be amazed at my dad's hair, he's 62 with an extremely full head of silver hair that is quite long...a whole lot longer than mine!

Dirty...tattoos...that's the whole point, silly!

Well, I guess that's one way of looking at it. I guess once all the ripping sheering screaming pain and bodily destruction is done, a good piece of Boston cream pie makes it all worthwhile...

Ah, the blessings of having previous children. Sure labor isn't fun, but once it's over, I feel perfectly fine - not even slightly sore in any way - so I can enjoy all the pie I want. Maybe some chocolate cake, too.

It's funny to see the nurses' reactions. "Mrs. Belle, you haven't any pain medication. Are you sure we can't get you anything?"
"No, I feel fine."
"Not even Ibuprofen?"
"No, I'm fine."

I am so envious. After a c-section, if you sneeze, you wish you were dead.

Although I have to admit that the liquid diet they keep you on the first day or two is a lot better than the real hospital food.

Us, too.

I rarely sent or received texts, so we just figured we'd pay the $0.10/text since it was cheaper than getting a texting package. Gradually we started receiving more and more texts from friends, so I called our provider to find out we had racked up $16 in texting fees, so I added the $4 texting package which cancelled out the $16. I'm really slow typing out texts on my simple phone and I refuse to use text-speak, but I like being able to send a message and not get stuck talking on the phone.

We have unlimited texting and data plans on our phones at work due to a scheduling program we use. I text about once a month, so I don't worry about it on my phone, which isn't on the scheduling program. I despise texting.

I'm so old school.
