My cats have soft, sleek fur and are <ahem> just this side of obese. So I don't think the dry food is doing them any harm.
Also, the vet agrees we should have them dry food since Jezebel could kill a rat at 60 paces with her vile cat breath.

Hahahahahhaa, poor kitty. He is so big and fluffy! Is he a Maine Coone or just a fluffy cat?

Lori, one of my sister's cats was having problems.....throwing up all the time, to the point of throwing up blood. They eventually realized that whenever this would happen he was actually constipated and would get all "backed up". They give canned food once a day now and very rarely have any problems.

I used to be of the "dry food only" mindframe......after Norman and Olive, I definitely like to give them canned food. Cat's are meant to eat dry cereal......

Norman will eat anything that doesn't move fast enough. Froot loops, marshmellows.....he isn't too picky.

Minty is technically my oldest DS's cat, but he really belongs mostly to me and my youngest DS. Or we to him, you know how cats are.

DH had a minor temper tantrum over the pee in the closet as though it were MY fault. We quickly got the facts of where the ursus defecates in the forest straightened out and I don't think that reaction will happen again.

Maple, I'd go with soup and a straw. I am hopeless with anything but a straw after a visit to the dentist.

Radar is of the opinion that Spearmint doesn't bathe well enough, so he does it for him.

They do regularly wrestle and leave fluff and stuff all over the house, though.
