Ok. It's raining cats and dogs so I have five minutes without interuption...........I have sold some stuff and checked in some stuff and finally got the check book balanced and all the sales from last week recorded. I just had a lady bring in10 saddles!!! Plus the two that were brought in five minutes before that.........................

Here is my letter....

Dear Uber-take-yourself-way-to-serious-painter,
Thank you so much for your inquiry. Yes we are looking for horse related art to hang in our store. Yes I did receive your "submission". I must admit I've never seen a horse that looks like that before. And my what a lovely interpretation of - is that Miss January? you have put on it's back. I must admit, I was unaware that Play Boy was implementing a viking theme for it's "models".
Maybe you missed the part of the ad where I mentioned we are a tack shop. I'm sure Your work has sold in galleries and you have won countless awards. No doubt Penthouse has been thrilled by your work in the past and I bet Larry Flint is dying to get a copy of that life sized painting for his office as well.
However, I regret to inform you that no matter how many billboards you have done for the Texas TB association, we will be unable to host your work in our store. Mainly because I have yet to pick up that gallon of specialty black glass paint I would need to not be in violation of the city's decency laws. Oh and the pesky little part about having children in the store on a regular basis.

Is this job related? Why do I care where mark or carol or dave are at this moment? I have people that work for me that care about that kind of stuff don't I? When I sat behind my desk today, I wasn't intending to buy any Jewelry today, so please forgive me if I gave you the wrong vibe. I shall have to practice hiding my wanting to buy junk jewelry vibe better, because I have a lot on my plate today and don't have the time to waste when my boss wants to know why I am baby sitting everyone else for you. Oh yeah, and unless the weather is affecting production or causing a work stoppage, why do I need to know if its windy, rainy, hailing or cloudy with a chance of meatballs...

Or maybe she's just bored and wants someone to talk to.

I like you Boyd! This is exactly what I try really hard to refrain from saying on a daily basis!!

I left for about 2 hours for lunch and a long overdue hair cut. Was back about 3 minutes before I was buzzed, luckily it was for a phone call!

I have a letter brewing, but I think it needs to stew for a while.

After all the years of listening to tinkle girl talk about her fatness, obsess over what she is eating, and ramble on about her half-hearted exercise attempts, she has finally pushed me over the edge.

I am standing at the elevator, with my gym clothes, shoes, and towel in hand, waiting to go up to the gym to exercise. Tinkle Girl comes up the stairs , looks at my pile of stuff (a pile because she borrowed my gym bag) and asks, "What do you do up there?"

"Ummm, exercise?" (there are only a few cardio machines, so I am not being facicious I am actually confused)

"Oh, I thought you went up there to shower or something."


????!!!!!!???????
