I used to have a fair share of stripped books. Had a friend that excelled at dumpster diving. He knew where all the best dumpsters were, and what the schedule was for primo dumpage. I was never that organized.

So B&N participates in destroying books????? hmmmmmmmmmm May have to "report" that too. But who would care? ACLU? NAACP? NASA?

The publisher owns the books, not B&N. Like a consignment store...sorta?

I COULD do that too, but I would rather find time for a part-time job at the bookstore down the street. They are always impressed by the kid's names.

Book Nerds.

This morning my husband told a fellow at the gas station "don't do anything I wouldn't do" I told the fellow that left him plenty of options - there isn't much Dh won't do.

Only the covers are being destroyed. The wordage within remains intact. And who judges the books by their covers, anyway?

There was a reason we called this guy Oscar. And it wasn't just because he was a Grouch!

When I was 8 my mother made a Wilton "Oscar the Grouch" Cake. it was mostly green - so was everything else for about 3 days - if you catch my meaning! LOL!
