Planted?!?! Mine are 5 ft tall and we're already picking.

It's been a slow process. I started many seeds late, just bought some more plants at a greenhouse around the corner with some great sales, and I'm clearing more beds too. The main garden is doing well. I've been eating lots of mixed greens, kale, and spinach. I won't see tomatoes or cucumbers until the end of august.

I thought I was getting a late start planting a month ago. Does your growing season really start that late? As it is, I don't know if the garden will be producing anything when Michelle gets here. We may be hitting the farmers market for good veggies.

No our season starts as early as April. I'm just late, not broody, late to plant. The local wholesaler greenhouse is selling everything so cheap because he has so many veggies left over. We're talking a quarter a plant in some cases. How can I refuse.

Ok, you all have fun. I've got things to go pretend I'm doing.

Sooo.... should I phone and keep you amused while you're infirm today? I can describe in tortious detail the sun warmed tomatoes i'm snacking on.

Later when my battery is charged and I can get a headset. I haven't told you about my latest adventures in a while.

So I did laundry today and realized i've tossed out more clothes than I've bought. So I guess it's time to order more....

I love this color.

This would be a lovely sundress:

My much loved cousin is having a garden wedding at the end of summer (she picked a beach spot that has a sidewalk and pier, so I can manage to go), I think this is lovely.

It is a horror. Some designer must have dropped some acid, dude.

It does require a certain amount of tact when shopping there. But I'm tiny for an adult woman, and they have sundresses in my size that fit well. Most of my stuff is "end of season Target sales chic",

I'm a thrift store girl. 98% of my clothes are from the great thrift stores around here. I dress more classy and expensive-looking than my co-worker who buys her stuff new. (Tooting own thrifty little horn).

Poor Larry, no time to shop. What about online?

I'm such an odd size, most things my size are either braded with Hannah Montana or are lil old lady polyester. (I also have size 5 feet). I see it as when I buy I take care of my clothes, and wear them untill they fall apart (which is why I'll go trendy on a color but not a cut of a dress). plus, well where I live now, no one throws out anything still usable.

You're PTO for a while. I bet there's some awesome thrift shops in your area. I've never been able to go through any when I'm visiting down there because of those darn weight limits on airline baggage.
