Laree, you should. Its sad, really sad, but youre gonna laugh for just a second.

I know! I'm a sicko, and laughed more than a second. And went back and read it again.
Sounds like a fun science project for DD... Without the rooster involved!!!

You already know me too well Laree. In all acutality, I would be the simpering mess hiding under my desk till the sun came back out.

I'm a weather channel geek, and there were certainly times when I made the kids hide in the hallway of our little house when we had wicked weather coming.
Don't hide under the desk, unless it's anchored to the floor. You're much better off in a hallway. More structural support and less stuff to blow into/on top of you.

We did the baking soda & vinegar gas chamber for DH's chicken girlfriend & her other egg-bound buddy. It was slow, but they really did look like they just went to a deep sleep with no stress. WSe made them a nest box to sit in above the fluids.

Morning all. Been working and reorganizing things this morning so just not getting a chance to say hi. Saturday wasn't bad - could have been better. Busy but no art sold.

But thanks for asking. Sat evening went to LH's for dinner, the drive shaft fell off my truck!

Sunday Jeff fixed truck. But I didn't get to set up and sell at the flea market like I had planned. Kids and I rearranged chicken pens and straightened up the "yard" from Pumpkin Roll's 3 days of"captivity. Got burned to a crisp. Hurts to wear clothes!!! Went to LH's for Lord Of the Rings Marathon, Part 1. We got through the extended version of Fellowship of the Ring and started watching Two Towers. Got to Helm's Deep before J called wanting to know if I'd run away from home! It was 9:30 and we had left at 3:30 so I guess it was a reasonable question.

Gonna have to go back later and watch. Love the extended version. Follows the book far closer than the theatrical release.

J did finally shave the "Grizzly Adams" Beard, thankfully!

still broke, caught and killed a raccoon, no chickens dead, kittens all fine, puppy driving me up a wall - that's about it.

Wassis called when you have an infection in the lining of the lungs, not in the lungs itself? Plutheria...pluthuria..pppbbthhhhitttiillallalalala?

Whatever. I think I have that. Going to nod off at my desk now.

No sales is no fun in the batty world.

But a/c and movies sounds like fun! Did the millies snuzzle in your hair as you watched the movie? (No, snuzzle is not a euphemism for splort. It means cuddling and preening you.)

Pleuritis (pleurisy): Inflammation of the lining of the lungs (pleuritis) causes sharp chest pain, which is aggravated by deep breathing and coughing. Patients often notice shortness of breath, in part due to their shallow breathing to minimize chest pain. Viral infections are the most common causes of pleurisy. Other systemic inflammatory conditions, such as systemic lupus, can also cause pleurisy.

*I hate the internet. Too easy to become a hypochondraic. But I have had some numbness in my arm, faintess when bending over, etc. Also, the DH said I have looked "particularly awful" the last few days. I even put on makeup the last 2 days. But I HATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE my doctor. I want to stab him with a tongue depressor. I think I would rather pass out & get carted to the hospital in an ambulance then go see him.

Pleurisy?

Yup, it's the stage below pneumonia. Had it - hurts to breath. They put me on antibiotics and codeine.
