Wakey schmakey! I'm between jobs now - have to go up the street to clean a house now. Morning job was spent polishing silver, washing door windows, folding laundry and cleaning & organizing pantry cupboards. For someone else. For pay. This is my glamorous life.

Off to clean toilets now...

Love you guys. I'll be on all day tomorrow. Does anybody know what happened to Batzy? I know Laree's office cut off access to us, but what about Batz?

I am not caffiene deprived. I had choclate teddy grahams for breakfast washed down with a custom blend of unsweetened ice tea: 1 bag of AWAKE! and 1 bag of Chai, black. Pretty tasty.


Sparkles is having a bad day. Her DH hit a skunk on the way to work. So she's having a really stinky day... literally. The windows were down, too. To say she is not amused would be a gross understatement.

I am alternating between facebook and a paperback psuedo romance about a woman who designs shoes. I think having a pair of shoes custom-made for my very own feet sounds lovely. But where would I wear them? I work in an industrial type of facility that is filthy, and I live in an area where chicken splort on the bottom of my sneakers goes unnoticed.

When I first moved into my house...........my neighbors dog apparently chased a skunk under my air conditioner unit. It sprayed the dogs. And the air conditioner unit. Needless to say, my air conditioner then circulated the skunk stank through my entire house. With my brand new carpet and a full closet of clean clothes. My house was stinky for weeks.

Stupid skunk.

Stupid dogs.

Hey Buffy, I haven't been on here in awhile. Did you ever get around to making that Butternutter pie?

Nope, I just brought in my butternut squashes yesterday - thought I better get them in from the garden before they become flying torpedos during Hurricane Earl tomorrow night.

I'll cut them up and cook them tonight in prep for baking the pie on Saturday. Hope we have electricity!

This thread's been a little slow lately, but that's okay. Both Laree and Batz can't be online much anymore. So for those times when we're all on, it's always nice.​
