This thread's been a little slow lately, but that's okay. Both Laree and Batz can't be online much anymore. So for those times when we're all on, it's always nice.

I ditto that! My boss man has been breathing down my neck lately.

Good Luck I hope the storm isn't that bad. They are saying CT is going to get hit too but, shouldn't be that bad.

Hi Lori - I'm off to clean two vacation rental houses because the vacationers took off early to avoid the hurricane. I guess we're supposed to feel the wind & rain starting at 6:00 tonight. Tomorrow will be sunny and beautiful though.

Buffy, be careful and stay safe this weekend. Hurricanes are tricky things. I lived in FL long enough to get that message.

Makes an impression on you as a small child! At first it was fun when all the lawn furniture was piled inside and I could make tunnels. When the game wore off and the tunnels didn't go away and the power went out... That wasn't so much fun. And I couldn't go to my room because there were windows there

That's when you know there's trouble!

DD got up this morning and saw DH sitting on the sofa. She said, "Why aren't you at work?" He said, "It's a holiday; Labor Day."
She said, "Then shouldn't you be laboring somewhere???"

Having trouble getting motivated today

We had a VERY exciting weekend

Our first baby grand-daughter was born on 9/4/10

I keep going from staring at her beautiful pics to checking in on what's going on here in BYC. It's exhausting!

They're not gonna like the level of production I give them at the office today but ummmmm....today....I don't care...

My hummingbird came back yesterday. She was distinctly not amused that I hadn't found, filled, and installed the hummingbird feeder. I was very apologetic, but she flew away anyway.
It's a very strange feeling being scolded by something the size of my thumb.
