Maybe you should get there early, hide out in the bar and down a few margaritas before they show up.

LOL, I just took a double dose of crazy pills. I haven't taken them for a few days.......GEE CAN YOU TELL? I can't find them.....sigh......had to bum one off a coworker. She offered me xanax too.....

Maybe it will be more like "Hi Mom, here is my girlfriend, the drug addict".

So far it's just "Summer of 2012" We are so busy "getting back from vacation" that we haven't had much time to sit and plan. I think Thursday, while the turkey cooks and the decorations are being sorted, will be a great time to puzzle out a plan. We are going to decorate both houses for Christmas this year, might as well go out with a BANG!

Hoping we win the lottery before summer of 2012 so I can attend the wedding.

If your current house is entirely in your ex's name - are you entitled to your half the equity earned while you were married? On the other hand, it makes it easy to walk away from since defaulting can't hurt you, if he lets it get that far.

No amount of money is worth any further association. It will be good to be free of any association with him.

I can see where that would be the case. When do you close on the new house? Will it be in both your names?

We plan to close around mid January, and yes, both names.

So, who's coming to help us move?

Okay, if you've never met them before, despite all emotional instincts to the contrary, sit your cocktails, don't gulp to relax yourself. Primary reason: You need to take notes on THEM! You really do. Especially observe SO's relationship to his mom, and observe whether his dad is "old school" (i.e. oh, Nella, the little woman how are ya honey?).

Report back. (No hangovers allowed, just this once.)

Well, I think her butt got buzzed, but she was too busy being p o l i t e. Whatever THAT means. Never heard it in relation to cell phones before.

When the bun actually does come out of the oven, how will we know? We don't have a person in place to report back for us. What to do?

If she buzzes me, you'll be the 2nd to know.

I always have my cell phone with me. Hospitals have free internet access, so I'll probably take my laptop, too. I need some entertainment while I sit in bed doing nothing but holding my baby for 2 days straight. (I'm also packing movies I want to watch and books I want to read.)

The maternity ward has 24/7 access to the kitchen, so if I want a Turkey Club sandwich and a slice of Boston Creme Pie in the middle of the night, all I need to do is page the kitchen and they bring it to me. I'm SO looking forward to my upcoming "vacation."
