Thank you all, for your nice comments. I look at that dress and think I could have provided Haitian earthquake victims with a few dozen shelter tents with all the fabric. I got the dress for $150 at a Jessica McClintock outlet in NY. I still have it, but times have changed and I doubt anybody else will want to wear it in the future. My religious Vermont niece was married in July in a very slinky strapless number. Go figure.

What's an example of a FB application? (sorry I'm clueless...)

No, you did it right - when you put the creamer in first, the stream of coffee stirs it for you - no need to dirty a spoon by stirring after the fact.

I'm the same. The risk factors (besides genes) for breast cancer are obesity, alcohol, smoking, non-exercise, and some other things I can't remember. I figure if drinking is the only thing out of the many that I put myself at risk by, I'm doing okay. And life itself is a terminal disease anyway. By giving up EVERYthing, life will only seem longer!
Quality of life, as best as we can manage.

Belle, never mind about future chicks, how's your future roo?

Medically speaking, all is well. I went to the Dr yesterday and since I was technically a day past-due they did a non-stress test on the baby, which he passed with flying colors. Basically they hooked me up to a machine that monitors fetal heartbeat on one sensor and the other sensor monitors contractions. The only contractions I've had are the normal pre-labor contractions called Braxton-Hicks contractions and they don't hurt, but the monitor picks them up. When I have a contraction, the baby's heartbeat speeds up, then slows back down to normal. Apparantly that's what they like to see, so they said he looked great.

I declined an internal examination. All my vital signs are normal and healthy. I hate the idea of getting induced, but they've tentatively scheduled an induction for Dec 9. I agreed to the date because I really doubt I'll last that long. I've never gone overdue before.

Non-medically speaking... I'm a hormonal mess and every part of my body hurts. I bought $15 worth of chocolate and candy yesterday and the sugar is so helpful. I had half a bag of Bit o' Honey candies for breakfast.

Those goofy quizzes, the games...those are applications.

Lexulous, Wordscraper and Scrabble seem to be safe, I play them all the time and no virus problems, but I've had issues with some of the quizzes. I have good virus protection here at work so I just click willy nilly and expect it to do its job.

I am Lexulous fail lately.........just not in the mood to play.

I avoid the quizzes. Buffster, with what you do on facebook, you should be safe

I've never seen someone get a virus by NEVER LOGGING IN.

Belle needs a hug. And another 10lbs of chocolate. If I had some chocolate eyeballs, I would hand them over.
