I just got done taking my mom's blood pressure and scolding her and she did what she always does...starts walking to the door and saying bye and shutting the door in my face so I opened it back up and yelled, "Denial! Denial! Denial! You don't need to loose weight first. You need to go to the dr. first, get on meds, and then loose weight like I'm doing or you're gonna drop dead of a heart attack!"
She grinned and said, "Yeah, that's what I was thinking, I needed to loose weight first." I told you she's impossible!
I'm gonna call and make her an apt. dang woman.

As I posted I wondered if being homebound had a calming effect of Beaner.
It had the opposite effect on DH the one day he was homebound. After her threw himself all over the house, sighing "I'm bored", I sent him out to shovel snow....

Well, that too. Also, all of my laundry is done (even dog towels, couch blankets, extra sheets, outside sweatshirts, etc), dishes are done AND put away and I had homecooked meals for DAYS in a row.
I wish I could work from home a couple days a week, every week.

We have 5 to 6 beaver dams about 2 miles east of us...what do you think the neighbors would say?
Actually sometimes the dams have gotten the water to raise on a heavy rain right up to the road and I've seen "park" people come a few times to knock the dams down but they just get built right back up again. he haw.
