Well, sometimes I get confused with you working at home. But I guess that's because of the weather.

Then I suggest going to the grocery store and buying a lunchable.

Get the turkey slices, cheese, crackers, a caprison drink, AND...drum roll.... a reece's peanut butter cup. Then go down the canned fruit isle and pick up a snack pack of fruit..which ever you preference. Dooo iiiiit! You're butt will thank you later.

Yay, Its not just me either! Ha!

I find I spend a lot of time going "Eh, I can do that tomorrow" for like 2 weeks at a time. My butt sits on the couch and I get nothing accomplished. Or I do a bunch of stuff and feel irritated and overwhelmed that I didn't get that OTHER bunch of stuff done.

This way I don't have to worry or wonder. Each set of chores should only take about a half hour to maybe an hour on "busy days". I have a small house and I live alone. Vacuuming, sweeping the dog room and washing dishes should take 15-20 minutes maybe, tops. I always get the laundry done, but am bad about getting it from the laundry room to the drawers/closet. I bring the eggs in but they sit on the counter waiting to be washed FOREVER.

I need a chore chart like I used to give my kids. If I do my chore chart, I get everything done. If I don't do one, I'm lucky to get anything at all accomplished.

You have inspired me to reinstitute my chore chart! Hehehe. (48 and needs a steeenkin' chart ... LOL)

Hi, my name is Gretchen. And I need a steeenkin' chart.

This is like one of those AA meetings which I have seen on tv and that's the only reason I know that's how they introduce themselves. I'm an addict of a different sort...called too much stuff and lack of organization and motivation.

I don't wash my eggs...am I supposed to do that?

(Please, please don't add another chore to my list!)

I have the opposite problem, I try to cram too much into every single day and then one day I'll just crash and burn and do absolutely NOTHING that night after work. I think a chore chart would help me know when to stop....maybe....?

That's what its good for. I can do that day's chores and know i don't need to do all the other stuff because it will get done the next scheduled day. I can NOT do them and NOT feel bad about it!

...and yet I sit here waiting for another reply...another giggle...anything other than tending to my duties.

I got the coop done yesterday though...now that was an underhauling in itself.

Big fat flakes of snow falling today so I'm glad I got it done. I had a mishap with an old waterer and my friend had made a platform for it so at least it all accumulated inside this platform but it froze. I was able to chip it with the blade of the shovel and get it out in chunks.

My goal today is to clean the kitty litters, hamster cages, and bunny cage. Must clean out the poopy...must clean out the poopy....must...
