Your turn today, huh?
Guess Beaner didn't get that message and she already sploded all over her co-workers...

Beaner, I had cherry toaster strudels for breakfast yesterday. They were

good. I hadn't had one in years. Literally.

The brooder is working most excellently. We have lights secured and everyone is LOVING having enough room to jump around and play.

I have a major hatch tomorrow, so everyone will get rearranged Wednesday so that I can integrate the toddlers in with the grade schoolers, and some of the gradeschoolers graduate to living with some teenagers. Some teenagers are getting the axe due to not living up to expectations (of 7 teens, 6 are roos, and 3 are roos with crappy features and bad attitudes). These are too small to be hawk food, so they will be planted under the oak saplings that DH is planting.

It does NOT pay to have a bad attitude in my coop.

Chelle, congrats on the Icers. Hope a lot more kung-fu their way outta the shell before the end of the day!!

Me too. "High alert for nut thieves". I can picture him! Poor Monroe, a guy can't be too careful.

Mornin' Beans and Orchpants.

Beans, well done on the mistreatment of co-workers already this morning. I was on the verge of losing my temper with my Office Mgr this morning. She left me a message on Friday (uh, not on company time except for Tues & Thurs) asking me for my work hours for the past 2 weeks. Well I didn't get the message until we got back in town on Sunday. I told her this morning that it's pretty simple to figure - I work 6 hours a week here, and there were no sickdays or snow days, therefore, viola 12 HOURS! But she couldn't bring herself to do that much work for me, so I won't get paid until the next payroll comes around - March 31. Thanks a lot Renee. Heaven forbid you should lift a finger for me.

Buff, that stinks.

I think I'd have to turn in a very sarcastic time sheet every other week.....

Thanks Lori. I emailed my hubby - he knows the situation at this office. He said "once an idiot, always an idiot". I sorta believe that, but I treat Renee so nice and supportive-like of her problems and whining that I thought I had engendered some spirit of helpfulness in her. But I guess my hubby is right.

Who else here has been praying for Batz's situation?

I was thinking that very same thing!

Michelle, I mailed you a card today. It has your favorite design pattern in it. I bet you can't wait to get it!

I was thinking that very same thing!

"I worked the same 12 freakin' hours this pay period that I work every stinkin' pay period, and expect to paid for said work in a timely manner. Is that too much to ask?"

"You want me to address and stamp these envelopes? It'll be done just as soon as I get paid for stamping and addressing the LAST set of envelopes. And not a moment before..."

"You want some coffee? Great! Get me a cup, while you're up, Boss."

On hold with the IRS efile FIRE system. The voice they use is actually sucking the brains out of my head. She lists IRS forms over and over and over and then loops the message. I can't actuallyt pay attention long enough to listen to it.

I like the way Lori thinks. I'm askeered of the way Laree's brain is being turned to radioactive waste by the phone system.

I hope everything is going okay for Gretchen today.
