I don't. Unfortunately. But maybe I could get a run that way.

And yeah I should lay down. But I got home earlier today and the 44 ox of coke I've been sucking on ain't helping.

I played bassoon in school, along with oboe and flute. Yes, sissy girly instruments. Until I got my lovely piccolo. Smaller and sissier than the flute. But HA, that sucker hit the high notes that made the dogs howl. Much more fun. Plus, light and easy to carry to sneak an ear piercing little trill of annoyance.

I played girls basketball until I quit because I was tired of not being able to actually play, but having to priss around and be lady like on the court.

some guy in india has a web site and says you have to have 10 hatching pairs to have a proper emu business. Then they will produce enough eggs to make you 30000 rupees a year. What the heck is a rupee and why would I want 30,000 of them?

Well, I know rupees don't grow on trees....

Do you WANT an emu business? I know it would be cheaper than horses, as long as you already have good fences.
But do you want a livestock guard pair, or a lay-lots-of-pretty-eggs-to-sell-and-then-eat-emu dozen pairs?

again, I'm going hmmmmmmmm. I doubt there is any place around here to "process" emus. I'm wondering though if having a pair to sell the pretty eggs wouldn't be kind of fun. Too many decisions.

I am not competent enough to make these executive type decisions. I waffle too much. I guess I didn't realize people had them as a business like cattle or sheep. There was a place near where we lived in NC that had Emus in a pen behind their house. They sold tickets and you could "pet" them. I know it wasn't a very big are they were housed in. But the fencing was pretty tall.

I must contemplate. How much time do we have until emu hatching?

And is the person in AK, wrong, AR asking 35 a bird? Is that the going rate?

In CA Kelsey said they go for $50 a chick.

I'll bet you could make decent $ on the eggs, but it would take a while for them to be old enough. And good fencing would be an issue.
Easter is Esmerelda's 'due by' date. Eduardo just started 'cooking' so 47-54 days until we know anything from him.

The petting zoo at the fair last Septemeber had some voracious emu 'teenagers' you could pet/feed if you dared. I dared.
They scared the wee out of quite a few folk. I can soooo see the emu being respectful towards you though.
