Stupid pomeranian at vet just slipped buckle collar and ran around office......why don't people use choke collars or martingales? Every single dog in this fricking waiting room is on a retractable leash.

My dogs are NOT allowed to act like that. They have a proper riveted leather leash and they walk on pinch collars in public. Idiot behavior in them is NOT allowed.

However, I do think we need to start drop kicking the small ill mannered dogs, then the owners right behind them.

Of the 4 dogs.....toy poodle is foo foo and always perfectly well behaved.....frankie is a jerk at home but great in public. Toby is an old geezer and pulls a bit but is well behaved otherwise. Molly is more fearful than anything else but is fine in public.

Do not tolerate bad behavior. My dogs know better. They might act ridiculous at home but out in public they mind their manners.

Your blonde Lab must be related to mine. He gets a mite excited at the vet. But I do use a regular leash, too.

Our black Lab is nice, sane and reasonable. Our Lab/Golden is nice, sane and reasonable. Our Springer is alas still a stupid puppy.
