My friends! Guess what?

Norman is doing good today! he had a can of food and is currently laying in front of the space heater. But has been up and meowing and acting pretty darn "normal" since I got home. He has been enjoying his cardboard scratcher up a storm too.

Vet called with results of his bloodwork. For whatever reason, the phenobarb test didn't come back. Darn it. He was going to call to check on it. The one test that may have the secret to what is going on and it didn't come back. Sigh. The complete and super duper blood panel (lol) came back totally normal.

If nothing else, for a 10 year old cat who has had some medical problems, he is in excellent health. Except for whatever is going wrong with him now.

But I am hopeful considering how he has been acting today. Yay Norman!

Also, considering he has been on half his normal phenobarb dose for 3-4 days now without a seizure, I would guess his dose was definitely high. Because, in the past, he would have a seizure if you missed a single dose.

Keep your fingers crossed for Mr Norman, my precious little baaaaaaaaaaaaaby.
