Hi kids.

I was being a non-internet non-slacker today. I cleaned bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Chopped off the heads of a dozen or so helpless chicks. Managed not to cry....slight sniffle, but I stifled it. Still have the big ones to go but the axe is not sharp enough. Not going to mutilate them. Needs to be clean.

Still have to work on the barn and the living room, but they called me in early to work tonight so I have to leave in an hour. Good news is I'll get off earlier and can do more tomorrow.

Got my GL pullets from NE today, too. They seem to be doing ok. I even had an egg int eh box. Wondering if it's fertile. May set it for shats and giggles.

Cat has insisted on moving the kittens AGAIN - photographic evidence.......

That would be the little hussy under a saddle stand in the office. My main problem with this is containing kittens. I'm thinking I'll get a larger box and put her back in the bedroom tomorrow.

Took pics of the baby pumpkin. He was being a big boy and eating all by himself yesterday. It's a good thing too cause Miss P does not like sharing!

I like this one of him. Kind of gives you a look into what he might grow into.

And here he is being super nosy at me with the camera. He's real personable which is great, esp compared to the yearlings. His 1/2 sister is not easy to work with at all.

He was staring at J in this one. J was working on the truck. Mr. Thing here was fascinated by the noises he was making.

Batty, I'd stuff that naughty mommy cat in a box and put her in a big dog crate with some food and a litterbox. No way would I want kitten yuck spread all over the house. Plus they will learn to use the litterbox faster that way, too.

Did you ever decide on a name for the baby pumpkin? He is soooo cute. Wookit dat soft wittle nosie!

Sure, I'll sell you a horse for $300 so you can do "halter" showing and train her for dressage. No, I'm not gonna pay the $250 to register her with the jockey club if that si all you are paying and have no plans on racing.

What? You have to have papers to "show" her? Um, no you don't. not at the beginner level you SAID you were showing at. You only need the JC registration IF you plan on racing her. PERIOD. AAAAAANNNNNDDDD if YOU plan on racing her, YOU pay the registration....OR you pay me the $1500 I told you we were asking.
