What a fun hatch you have planned! Definitely Brahmas! My friend has a light Brahma rooster that acts like a dog. They're such gentle giants.

45 minutes away for most of them. Smoke was the only issue. Grandson and family were evacuated a few weeks back but all ok. Was your area ok?
Any stain glass projects lately?

White Rocks. I have other meat bird chicks growing. I would like to cross them with Delaware's. My Delaware are only 5 weeks old at the moment, so we will see if the Cornish make it long enough to try.

How do the White Rocks do for you? Lay well? Growth rate?

So..... Last weekend my Leghorns hatched, that meant my incubator was empty! How dare it be!

so I smacked its butt and told it never to do that again and promptly filled it with as many eggs as I could find..... which was only 12... (6x Isa brown X's and 6x White wyandotte bantams)
Im getting my next batch of Leghorn eggs (18) this coming thursday so that should keep it busy for a week or 3
Oh and I got given a turkey egg so thats in there too
