It's so much easier with a good pressure canner. Mine is a pressure canner/cooker/ slow cooker in one. It's amazing!

Could anything be more satisfying than opening up the pantry and finding a summer’s worth of canned or preserved produce? Beautiful jars of jams, jellies, fruit, or vegetables. How about a big glass jar of pickled eggs or dills? Or maybe making fruit leather or jerky is more your jam.

The Canning & Preserving Contest is a judged photo contest.
Rules:
- All entries must be submitted as a reply to this thread.
- Entries must be homemade by the member posting.
- A photograph of the ingredients plus a photograph of the finished canned or preserved product is required.
- A member can have up to 3 entries (only one entry per post please).
- No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
- High-quality images are recommended.
- ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- This is a judged photo contest and the winners will be determined by a panel of judges.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
- All BYC rules apply - Terms of Service (Rules)
- Entries will be accepted until June 30, 2021 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
PrizesBYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded the PFM instead.
