Peggie Sue, Minature pony, she won supreme in her first show.

So hard to only pick three pictures... this is Bailey, my grumpy old lady! She’s taught me all I know and then some. She’s so patient and sweet, I trust her with absolutely anyone because I know she’ll take care of them. Plus she has a soft spot for kids! We only do some light trial rides nowadays, now she’s babysitter to my rescue I don’t know what I would ever do without her. She’s a mix, but definitely majority of her is quarter!

#2 is my kill pen buddy Rooster. He had a tough start, but now he’s doing fantastic- even if he’s as ornery as a toddler! Loves his face squished and gives hugs with that giraffe neck of his. He also loves calves, for some reason, and has become the weird uncle. He’s a Paso Fino

And last but not least, old man Hummer. He’s retired now to light trail rides and looking after all the young guns. He’s an OTTB turned fox hunter and a huge attention hog-literally, he’s 17.2 hh, and for someone who normally rides little 14.3 ranch horses that’s huge! Also, he has an animal cookie horse on his nose and I’m obsessed

Moab, very good at posing, has a few unique white spots and split hair, he has a bad back and arthritis in one leg but we’re fixing it!

The contest ends July 30, I think. I don't envy the judges, having to choose between so many beautiful horses!

Wow, what a beautiful selection of equines! I have so enjoyed seeing all your photos of your equine friends.

I will have a look through my photos or perhaps take some new ones to enter. My family has two horses (an Irish Sports Horse and an Appaloosa) and three ponies (a Welsh X, a Welsh Section A and a British Spotted Miniature). I will have to see who looks the prettiest.
