This is Darcy, he's a new breed of chicken I'm working on that will hopefully be a great dual purpose breed that can be used for meat, and eggs or feathers ect ect. He is a mix of Light Sussex and French Cuckoo Maran!

This is my light Sussex roo named Oreo, in Italy the light Sussex is a very common meat breed and when farms hatch lots of chicks they will actually keep the males for future breeding or they feed them the feed for Cornish cross or other meat bird feed. The hens are used as egg laying machines!
