Ended Official BYC 2024 Summer Fair—Farm Machinery Show

This is my tractor entry.
It was a John Deere 2840 which we used for our round baler, which was destroyed too.View attachment 3905861. 😢 According to insurance adjuster, Raccoons had chewed the electric wires and the 100'x60' barn and our equipment was destroyed. No livestock were injured.
Wow.

So sorry for your loss! Glad no one was injured

This is my tractor entry.

When we switched from making square bales to round bales we needed a front end loader that could lift the 1,000+ lbs bales. We found one a JD 401C, at a farm equipment auction, that could do that plus more. The thing on the back is a 6' Ditch Witch 3 point/Trencher. The Trencher works great and it makes a wonderful counter balance for the Loader.

That’s a neat looking tractor!

The farm truck. Purchased from an auction, this 2008 Ford now has a rebuilt motor, new rear end, new bed, new upholstery with extra padding in the seat so I could see over the dash. This thing can pull a load. Have kidney stones? No worry, a quick dash to town will take care of that as the suspension in this thing bust loose the most stubborn enterolith.

Beautiful truck

This is my entry...She is a 1965, 136 MF, 45hp diesel, We added a hydraulic pump to her so she could run implements that use hydraulics...

She is a very hard worker and very multi-talanted. I use her to rake our hay hooked up to a side-deliverely rake. She is my partner when I bush-hog the small pastures and clean up the sides of the hay fields. My husband uses her all winter hooked up to his 22 ton logsplitter. In this photo she is resting after doing bush-hogging. My husband put heavy mesh on her so branches wouldn't knock me off the tractor when I'm bush-hogging. She has worked tirelessly for us for over 24 years...
